Shibpur Netaji Subhas Open University NSOU Study Centre

Shibpur Dinobundhoo Institution (Shibpur Dinabandhu Institution/ College) in Howrah is affiliated to the University of Calcutta and the Netaji Subhas Open University (NSOU). The college was established on 16th August in 1948. The college is also called Shibpur Dinobundhoo Institution (College).

The NSOU study centre is situated on the west bank of the river Hooghly or the Bhāgirathi-Hooghly, close to Second Hooghly Bridge or Vidyasagar Setu. From Santragachi, Toll Plaza (Vidyasagar Bridge) is about 10 minutes away by bus.

From Sealdah Station you can catch SBSTC bus, change from Howrah Court to catch a bus to reach botanical garden. The Shibpur Dinabandhu Institution Study Centre offers distance education at Kazipara in Shibpur in the district of Howrah under the Netaji Subhas Open University or NSOU.
