IGNOU Study Centre at Narsingarh in Agartala

Bhavan's Tripura College of Teacher Education, situated at Bimangarh (Narsingarh), Agartala, West Tripura, was established by Dr. K. M. Munshi, a Freedom fighter, politician, lawyer, writer, founder of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (1938), Home Minister of Bombay State (1937 - 40), Agent-General of India in Hyderabad State (1948). Bhavan's Tripura College of Teacher Education is recognized by NCTE and permanently affiliated to the Tripura University. The IGNOU study centre at Narsingarh offers Certificate in Primary Education (CPE), Certificate in Elementary Teacher Education (CETE), Bachelor of Education (BEd) programmes.
