Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University (BNMU), Laloo Nagar, Madhepura was established in 1992. It is a public university in Bihar. BNMU is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Research facilities are available in all the departments of the Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University.

The university offers various undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D programmes in various fields. The departmental libraries of BNMU have about 1lakh books, thousands of manuscripts, and study materials. There are a large Sports Complex, a stadium for outdoor and indoor games, especially for archery, cricket, basketball, swimming, with the assistance of the Sports Authority of India, New Delhi.

Aryabhatta Knowledge University Patna Exam Schedule, AKU Result, Admission

Aryabhatta Knowledge University, a public university, was established in 2008 for professional education in the district of Patna in Bihar. AKU Patna is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been established by the Govt. of Bihar (by Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri Nitish Kumar). Aryabhatta Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ACNN) is the first research centre established by AKU, that offers M.Sc, M.Tech and Ph.D reaearch programme in Nano Science and Technology.

There are several constituent and affiliated colleges under the affiliation of the Magadh University that offer several professional or vocational courses like Tourism & Travel Management, Journalism & Mass Communication, MBA, BCA, MCA, B.B.M. Environmental Science, Counseling & Rehabilitation in the districts of Aurangabad, Gaya, Nalanda, Jehanabad, Patna and Nawada in the state of Bihar.

Patna University, the seventh oldest University of India, is the first university in the state of Bihar. The university was established in 1917. At present there are 10 colleges of Patna University in Bihar - (i) B. N. 3. Magadh Mahila College, North Gandhi Maidan: Magadh Mahila College is the oldest women's government college in Bihar.
