Aryabhatta Knowledge University Patna Exam Schedule, AKU Result, Admission

Aryabhatta Knowledge University, a public university, was established in 2008 for professional education in the district of Patna in Bihar. AKU Patna is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has been established by the Govt. of Bihar (by Hon'ble Chief Minister Sri Nitish Kumar). Aryabhatta Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (ACNN) is the first research centre established by AKU, that offers M.Sc, M.Tech and Ph.D reaearch programme in Nano Science and Technology.

The university works in a multifaceted manner. It is also going to establish Aryabhatta Centre for Stem Cell Technology, Aryabhatta Centre for Astronomy, Astrophysics & Applied Mathematics in the near future for the purpose of research in the respective fields.

At present, there are more than 20 affiliated engineering colleges under the Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU). VITM or Vidyadaan Institute of Technology and Management, Dumraon (D-affiliated) is the first engineering college in the state of Bihar under Aryabhatta Knowledge University.
