The main objective of CS pre-matric and post-matric scholarship schemes for SC, ST and OBC students is to support parents of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Class candidates for education and to help the students to complete their higher studies. Children belonging to S.C./S.T./O.B.C. category and studying in class IX/X are eligible for pre-matric scholarship. Students studying in classes XI, XII in 10+2 system, or pursuing general graduate degrees in Engineering (B.Tech), Medical (MBBS), Hotel Management (BHM), B.Sc Agriculture, B.A., B.Com, B.Pharm, Bachelor of Nursing, L.L.B., L.L.M., Post Graduate courses, M.Phil, Ph.D, ITI and Polytechnic courses are eligible for online application for post-matric scholarship scheme.

Must Remember: During the submission of KYC (Know Your Customer) form to the bank branch, must submit a photocopy of your Aadhaar Card. Without the linking of Aadhaar number with bank your scholarship amount will not be deposited to your bank account from this year.

To renew your application for scholarship at first you have to log in using your Application/ User-Id and Password at http://oasis.gov.in/apps/portal/user/login.bcw.
Date of disbursement or Date of deposition of money/scholarship amount to bank account: The Government of West Bengal does not mention any particular date of disbursement, but we are expecting the money will be deposited to your bank account in the month of July.
