Vidyasagar University BA/BSc/B.Com Exam Schedule, Result & Admission

Vidyasagar University is a state-government administered, affiliating and research university in Paschim Medinipur district of southern West Bengal, founded by Professor Anil Kumar Gayen of IIT, Kharagpur. The Vidyasagar University was established on 29 September 1981 by the Vidyasagar University Act 1981. Professor Bhupesh Chandra Mukherjee, a teacher in the History Department of the Presidency College Calcutta, joined as the first Vice Chancellor of the university on 29 September 1981. The foundation stone of the main campus at Tantigaria mouza of Midnapore Sadar town for Postgraduate teaching and central administration of the University, was laid by the then Honourable Chancellor of the university and Governor of West Bengal, Late B. D. Pande, on 18 July 1983.

 From 16 January 1986 classes commenced in 6 post graduate departments - Applied Mathematics with Oceanology and Computer Programming, Anthropology, Commerce with Farm Management, Library and Information Science, Economics with Rural Development, Political Science with Rural Administration.

 The university offers courses at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels. Along with the departments of Humanities, Science, Commerce with Farm Management, the university also offers vocational and other specialized courses at the undergraduate level. Vidyasagar University is an affiliating institution and has its jurisdiction over Purba Medinipur and Paschim Medinipur districts in West Bengal. Result of B.A./ B.Sc./ B.Com.     List of B.Ed Colleges under Kalyani University with Contact Phone Numbers and Address

    At present, there are about 60 B. Ed. colleges under Kalyani University in the districts of Nadia and Murshidabad in West Bengal. Here is the list of 54 Self-financed B. Ed. colleges affiliated to the University of Kalyani.
